Yoga is the art of connecting the mind to the body through movement. It is about actively creating health and vitality through breathing and moving in a unified way. The goal of yoga is to cultivate prana, or life force energy, which can be extremely healing and powerful.

The word yoga means unification and is a therapy for health. Yoga is really just a word to describe India’s physical religious rituals for body and mind maintenance. Traditionally, yoga was passed down by family members; mothers and fathers would teach their kids.
ॐ (the Indian symbol for yoga)- means AUM and is synonymous with yoga. It means god, or unity consciousness.
