See the Earth and Sun in Real Time — Introducing Parker’s Physics

Most tools show you a simplified version of reality.

Static loading. Shitty maps. Delayed data. Flat models.

But the real world isn’t static—it’s alive. It evolves.

The Sun is constantly erupting, flaring, exploding,
Magnetic fields twist, collapse, intertwine and exponentiate
Storm systems form and decay over the course real time.

Parker’s Physics is built to take your understanding of reality to the next level.

We’re entering a new era of software.

AI isn’t just helping us write code—it’s enabling us to model systems that were previously too complex to simulate in real time.

At its core, everything is computation:

  • Physics becomes math
  • Math becomes code
  • Code becomes simulation

Parker’s Physics sits right at that intersection.

It uses modern compute + simulation techniques to help you see planetary-scale systems as they evolve, not after the fact.

What You Can Explore Right Now

🌍 Real-Time Earth Systems

You’re not looking at snapshots—you’re looking at a living system.

Cloud Cover (experimental)

The Cloud cover is especially cool, I think its pretty accurate but I’m actually not too sure, that is kind of our testing baseline right now (real-time cloud cover for the entire planet is pretty tough work, ngl) and so I am stating this part as very in progress. However, I am hoping to add LTSM analyzers for predictive weather analytics to the tool, so hopefully pretty soon here it will be projecting 3 days into the future. That will likely be my sprint tomorrow.

Wind Vectors

The wind vectors are legit, recently upgraded, but not in sync with the time analysis quite yet. Obviously a very large task for historical wind, but I think we can do it! Rust is fast, man. You can see storms forming in real time, I will be very excited to layer the time series analysis on top of this.

Ocean Temperature

Warm sea surface temperatures can develop and strengthen cyclones over the ocean. Tropical cyclones can also cause a cool wake. This is due to turbulent mixing of the upper 30 metres (100 ft) of the ocean. Sea surface temperature changes during the day. This is like the air above it, but to a lesser degree. There is less variation in sea surface temperature on breezy days than on calm days.

Active Fires

I am sure this will evolve pretty heavily over time as I start to add more layers of atmosphere, the fires will need to be measured in detail to see exactly how they interact with the ionosphere, so stay tuned for that kinda stuff as fire season rolls around. Right now you can see active global fire, pretty cool to be able to see what is happening in Australia right now.

Storm Alerts

The Storm alters come in directly from the National Weather Service, so its all US based right now, but that should be pretty easy to expand in future iterations. It would be cool to start expanding this globally!

Time Series Analysis

I am working on this part, so its not live yet, but I hope to be able to scrub forward and backward through a deterministic simulation here, so there will be a caching layer based on a predictive model in the background that will become more aligned/fine tuned over time as we learn exactly how the Sun behaves and how the Earth reacts. It should be very interesting to build this engine because it could be used to go very far back, or very far forward in time, as we accumulate more data on the subjects, it could make for a ground breaking historical weather simulation of planet Earth. Hopefully!

What’s Coming Next (THIS is where you sell the future)

This is where Parker’s Physics becomes something much bigger.

⏳ Time Navigation (In Progress)

  • Scrub backward through real events
  • Move forward through predictive simulations
  • Watch systems evolve over time

🤖 Predictive Modeling

  • AI-driven weather forecasting
  • Multi-day projections
  • Increasing accuracy as data improves

☀️ Solar + Space Integration

  • Solar activity → Earth impact
  • Magnetosphere + ionosphere modeling
  • Space weather as a first-class system

Humans aren’t built to intuitively understand planetary systems.

They’re too large. Too dynamic.

But now we can simulate them.

Parker’s Physics is about closing that gap—
between how reality actually works…
and how we perceive it.
